I wrote this after watching an old black and white flick with Bogey and Bacall. They were hot!

Poem Artwork

soft was the approach of whispers
chilling the sheets
warming again to the humidity
cloaked in the dew of prisimed sweets

reflections of raspberry drizzles
juices attending tongues
taste buds of solvent blushes
kisses in technicolor...she comes

you there in your chair
large hands grasping the corduroy
didgets upon your chin
thinking...boy oh boy

a woman
upon the inside lids
her flavor
woman-woman...she lives

inside the man
the question lies
give to she and breath the smile
whisper shut before it dies

she the one
who questions him
tawdry thoughts
bawdy whims

he this man a storied tower
learned scholar with rolled sleeves
questions ...answers... hooks all worded
usurp her challenge....
feel the power.

I think Linda said it a whole lot better than I could Susan...this has that special kind of appeal...aw if someone is reading your words aloud as we watch the characters on the screen...Sensual with a capital S.

Oh yeah, smokin'! Bogey's cool appraisal and Bacall's apparent yet elegant sexuality. It was the mystery, the dance between them that held us to the screen. Something's lost in letting it all hang out don't you think? Love the classics. This is perfection, Susan...

As always you have a masters grasp of all things romantic and passionate and it shows in these writes. They flow as smooth as soft gentle lovemaking on satin sheets. I feel the bite of desire from the start and quiver waiting for your poetic climax in these writes that you perfect.

Susan
This is a sizzling romantic write that underlines the white hot heat that Bogey and Bacall generated in the old flicks...
Sophia Loren was the one that did it for me...LOLS
