Poem Artwork

Shhhhhh.......

love invites each whisper
to come upon the ears
embrace the chiseled avenues
from smiles to every tear
dwell there in a turned up lip
moisten every word
listen its a whisper
the sweetest ever heard
i love you comes in seconds
then in your heart is caught
it can't be taken easily
nor stolen.... even bought
the whisper with I love you
is given from the heart
its here for you my darling
with a whispered, loving start.

Truly it replaces the tears with a smile; you are so right--it can't be taken away once whispered to the waiting one. This is a wonderfully romantic piece. Ah, true love!

Ohhhh I think you've managed to melt a few well chosen hearts with this one, my friend...and there is such magic in your words with the way a whisper sounds and feels to the ear...hmmm ears are the door to stimutation of the mind...listen to the silence in between the whispers...listen to the breathing....and feel the romance. UMMMMMMM!

How beautiful is your soul dear Susan! I swear that you are beginning to flow in those streams of thought that many dream to be in.

"embrace the chiseled avenues from smiles to every tear" Indeed!

What heart wouldn't melt under the soft shower of these lovely thoughts?

Beautiful whispered poetry, Susan, that is heard at full volume when it is spoken and heard by the heart as well as the mind. Although gentle, there is a frisson of excitement and energy in this... like the increase in beating of the excited heart... stirring stuff!! Even if silent, the words I Love You can be felt and sensed through each of all the other five senses put together. Love this, thank you. Kate xx

When you whisper love poetry, you are shouting to the world. This poem is so "readable." You parlayed one line into the next with professional aplomb annd with a lovers heart. The result? Exquisite poetry.
