It's time to move a mountain
Sitting on my heart
It's tall and strong and granite like
And pressing on the blind part
I'm exhausted knowing it won't budge
No matter what I do
It's more than I can understand
The piece of me still loving you
I curse myself and shake my head
Discombobulate ...the truth
Is fighting to redeem my heart
From a single beat still loving you
I like to have things my way
But now my thoughts escape
To an abyss where I haven't known
Have I time... am I too late
I love to love but not this pain
The one reflecting blues
For yearning now is all I have
It weights my heart from loving you.

Your devotion and energy are admirable. Your feelings are deeply and honestly felt. Unfortunately, dearie, verse and poetry are very different animals. Instead of scratching out a lame effort every single day, why not focus on one good poem at a time.
Edit! Revise! For God's sake, lose those archaic rhyme schemes.
I have some things like this in my life that refuse to die, or move into another sphere of awareness.
If our thought processes were always light and carefree, and we didn't have these challenges that aggravated and tormented the soul, I don't believe our art and writing would have any depth. It would be as two-dimensional as a piece of paper.
You always provoke me to think, and you do seem to touch places in my life where I've had similar experiences. This was excellent!
Oh Susan my own heart goes out to you after reading this one. Your pain and longing to be loved and to love are so strong hearted and I hate to see you blue. Big hug coming your way.

To not be able to give up love as easily as it has been given up on us is a tragic way to have to go through life. I have been there, and even now, there are still soft twinges when a certain phrase or word is spoken around me, but at least it isn't a scream anymore. Very good poem.

I love when you sing the blues - so poignant and close to the heart.
Well crafted. Touching - will share.
