Here, Felix Perry and I collaborated on the fantasy of loving for centuries and die to quest and love again. Can anyone prove it's an impossibility?
I held your hand as we strolled along
The banks of the River Nile
Following the path of Cleopatra
Now those two cats had style
In papyrus we etched our vows
Never knowing where or how
We would meet again to flow
Into the other's afterglow
Our lips met beneath the blaze of the setting sun
To Gone With The Wind we held each other
I was your Rhett and you my Southern Belle
Swearing we would never love another
We loved until the Yankees came
We fought our lust and died again
We witnessed Dixie fade away
Knowing we'd love another day
We made love in a Red Cross Hospital
As the days of World War I wound down
A lonely wounded soldier and his Nightingale
Took away my pain and kissed away my frown
Between the bombs blast ,overhead
We cradled love and kept it fed
With lips that breathed eternity
We died and vowed infinity
I was copilot to you when you flew
That last transcontinental flight
We made love and formed a brand new club
Amelia mile high in the night
T'was shortly then I flew away
And fly away from home
I saw your face when I went down
Aching for you into my bones
We sailed together on that mighty liner
Danced waltzes on her promenade deck
The Titanic sealed love and fate
Time captured love in shipwreck
As time will comfort lovers
Whether war or on the wing
Fate will give us yet another
Chance to catch our love again.
Forever Love!

Love is timeless and its power inexorable. I think you two have shown, through this poem how it can manifest itself in us, again and again, transcending the laws of the universe -time, space and nature. Outstanding collaboration!
