It's time to move a mountain
Sitting on my heart
It's tall and strong and granite like
And pressing on the blind part
I'm exhausted knowing it won't budge
No matter what I do
It's more than I can understand
The piece of me still loving you
I curse myself and shake my head
Discombobulate ...the truth
Is fighting to redeem my heart
From a single beat still loving you
I like to have things my way
But now my thoughts escape
To an abyss where I'm not known
Have I time... am I too late
I love to love but not this pain
The one reflecting blues
For yearning now is all I have
It weights my heart from loving you.
well written expression of love, loving loss and longing-enjoyed

Once the attachment of the imagination of love is set free from fear, then one is free to love...lest one becomes so bound to it,to the exclusion of the beauty that surrounds them...

Blues from the heart, as weighted down as it may be . . . "I like to have things my way" . . . Sometimes vanity and ego disrupt the slow currents of love in the making . . . You wrote each like as if you squeezed it from your very soul . . .
You have a bad habit.... getting me deeply involved in these love things of yours. And, they are worthy of good reads, keen poet.

Ouch, this is perfectly beautiful and painful all at the same time. Susan I think love is just something that never completely dies, you pen it so well.
Love can make one feel light as a feather when it is in full bloom but it can also feel like the proverbial mountain when it is unfulfilled or lost. I have known both dear Susan and the only consolation is that we can love again if we allow ourselves to get by the past.
Oh boy ... I am hoping that this is just a work of imagination Belle. Otherwise you have some roots that are still deeply embedded in you. This poem is an interesting amalgam of hope and pensiveness. Well done!
