Poem Artwork

For all you lovers out there who have found one another...reflections are always a great memory.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~....~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I've roughed it long enough now
My loneliness is over
I'm acting like a silly child
I run and smell the clover
I know that clouds are beautiful
I've soared among a few
I see another world right now
And all because of you
The vastness of a cobalt sky
While lover's fly above
Its wonderful to spread your heart
When you put a face on love.
Its a whole new world of butterflies
Dancing all inside
It's giggles under cotton sheets
A slow erotic ride
It's smiles so wide they break your face
Its waiting for that shove
Then gently giving back a push
When you put a face on love.
Colors seem to be enhanced
Fingers feel like satin
When you strive for eloquence
It all comes out in Latin
Emotions all seem like nerves
They handstand end to end
You tear at even happiness
When rhythms start to spin
Your eyes shoot sparks like bullets
Just like lightning bugs
Each day is a new flower
When you put a face on love.
Susan, you've capture a true picture of love...this is truly beautiful! This made me feel real fuzzy inside to know I'm not the only person who has felt this sort of love. There's "no" other face like a face in "love." Beautiful!!!
Beautiful, Susan. You must be in love.
The title of this poem and the content blend together exquisitely. You have captured all the emotions and exuberance of one person loving another completely.
Really enjoyed this one!
Each day is a new flower
When you put a face on love.
It truly is, and I love that picture!
Indeed, the blissful, sensual heights of erotica can only be defined in Latin - described by any other language would be much too vulgar.
Without love in one's heart it would be a sad world.
Tha's the picture of myself and my sister, I was her protector and she was my good luck talisman.
Then I grew up and innocence went out the window and I needed to put a face over my face, as you said it, a face of love.(on love I don't think I ever did)
This poem is so excellent ot makes me want to write.
In love we are boundless, In love we are at home, Love can take us to heaven without leaving the ground, It can bring us to tears without a sound.
Very very well done and captures the way love should be, innocent, shy, exciting and always a new experience each day. So powerful is this write that it can make even old folks like me remember what it was like to be in love.
