Here I stand, a boy come of age and wanting deeply for loves touching;
eager, impatient to know that greatest of all lives gifts.
My body has awakened from its youthful winters sleep;
my yearning beneath, not yet fully understood.
Strange and pleasing, this newfound feeling, this wondrous driving force.
'Tis for ladies fair I wish to share, for love has set my course.
Hurry, come hither quickly oh time; show her to me, set my need free,
and above heavens stars shall we climb.
Consumed I am by this newfound essence,
for my sleeping seed has awakened;
seeking the warmth of her heat, and the soft of her body.
Moved forward now by the hunt of life,
I feel unstoppable in this earnest quest of finding what she hides.
Surely I would move the earth off its axis, melt down its ice,
cause its fires to freeze, and gather heavens stars in my hand;
if only to open her womanly door, if only to brush her soft lips…..with mine.
Then suddenly, as if answered by wondrous miracle, she stands before as a beacon of joyous answer to my endless prayer.
In her I see the grace of loves answered question;
filling my life, my heart, my mind, yes, even unto my very spirit,
with such complete tranquility and peace, that indeed I now know there is a gifting God.
Unending fulfillment I can feel at her glance, at her smile, even at the very way she seemingly gifts the earth where she stands.
How quickly she peaks me with joyous emotion simply from her notice;
for she is happiness itself incarnate, and somehow my total completion.
Her essence is now blending within me, and I within her, as we stir softly to become wonderfully weightless,
and fly on loves wondrous, warming wings of passion.
Two lives now stand still upon gifted moment;
a moment even so much as a divine, sublime time within joy.
We quickly find ourselves captured in this moment of brilliant and picturesque rapture, while seeking no escape of loves holding.
Exertion does pleasure our efforts as our bodies delight in carnal learning,
and then peaking with completion, our hearts sing as one song.
Whilst the world outside our own continues turning, we shall continue to nourish, as our love grows to flourish,
and we decorate our lives evermore with the planting, and nurturing, of that blessed feeling we have discovered as love.
I loved him. At age twelve he touched my heart with his music. At age twenty he captured my heart when our eyes met as he sat on a stage and sang Four months later, he fractured my heart with his refusal to allow us to stay together. At age seventy
