stay out of here. . .there is no solace
except for that which may come
upon you in a dream about
heaven instead
of living in this hell

to be here is concentration camp madness. . .
and I realize now that my own hardness
of heart came from the hardness of this
so-called free society, this democratic nation
assumed to act justly. . .

no one is born to kill--we are all trained. . .
we become naughty not by nature but by
necessity. And those who feel they are untouched by the wretchedness of this stench are the ones who are MOST guilty. . .

their innocence can be bought,
I have no special value

to those who stay stuck in
the past. . . . yet I know that my words
of reform will change lives

I am not Apostle Paul but even he had to die for proclaiming the truth, a truth that bigots refuse to re-adjust their ears,
even Moses  was a murderer
but not even Pharoah had the final say;

to be scorned by a system of power in all  the wrong places, a system where only the lightest among us have a fighting
chance while the darkest  among us watch the ruler raise the liquor glass in a toast
on the rocks of bloodied unforgiveness,
is the way it was, the way it is and until
Christ's return. . .
the way it shall always be.
