Poison pokes his head
via my fisssure'd porch screen. . .
fork'd tongue finds my room
grabbing at the hoe
the blade severs your brainstem
you ooze indigo
reminds me of nights
when my heart bled in anguish
and my eyes turn'd black
but i took control
doing what i had to do
to disengage love
