slumber on
as the world tick tocks
and your mind is lock'd
in narrowness...for the time
will come when you waken numb,
wondering what you must have miss'd
and the opportunist cats at play
surely slap you from your bliss.

Just when we think we have it all under control and we feel like we have made ourselves invincible, ZAP!!! change comes crashing into our world and nothing will ever be quite the same again. Life remains a forward motion and we must continue to move thorough our path, not bask in the sweetness of the sunshine for too long, and constantly be on the lookout for the changes that will surely be coming. We are granted two things in life; blessings and blessings in disguise, the latter often being difficult to realize. A wonderful cautionary poem, Cynth'ya. As always it is a pleasure to read your sage words.
