UNINVITED LOVE
As I sit here at home,
just waiting, alone,,,,,
waiting for you to arrive.
If you were no longer there,
or,,,,, if suddenly you just didn’t care.
I wonder, would I survive?
I just can’t figure out
how this all came about
but, I know it wasn’t part of my plan.
How did it all come to this?
A dance and a kiss,
then all of the sudden, Wham!
I didn’t plan to fall for you.
I was just looking for fun things to do.
That was what I thought we had found.
Next thing you know
where ever I would go
I wanted to have you around.
Although our lives had both been hexed,
I dreamed someday we’d have sex.
But, falling in love wasn’t part of my plan.
One day I awoke and I knew
I had fallen for you,
when all I wanted was to hold your hand.
And what impress’s me so,
just in case you didn’t know,
is that it seems that you love me too.
The next question, I guess,
is probably,,,,,, more or less,
now what are we going to do?
