Time passes, memories fade. Well, some memories,,,,, not all.

YOUR AFTERGLOW

Yea though your kisses
have dried upon my lips
ravenous memories of you continue,,,

devouring my waking hours.

Your melodic words linger upon my ears
igniting my imagination
as radiant visions of you persist,,,

dictating my demeanor.

Your luxurious scent lingers upon my pillow,,,
Your elegant footprints adorn my garden path,,,

As the sun rises over the Atlantic
I await your anticipated return,,,

Through it all,,,

I remain lost….

in your afterglow.

I always suspected you were a romantic man; I agree with Fee, love is the only thing that can inspire a man to write such romantic, eloquent words. I like this very much, Dick.
