Poem Artwork

Love is treating each other right and holding on tight as there is always light.

Love is standing by each other’s side when there becomes many downslides.

Love is kindness and gentleness.

Love is comforting and warmth.

Love is ageless and everlasting.

Love is such beauty that I see in your eyes everyday and feel deep within my soul.

Love is listening and encouragement giving words of praise and hope throughout the days in many ways.

Love at times can seem to let you down as certain moments become difficult.

Love is being there though through the happiest of times and through the tears.

Love is a true friend through the fears and years.

Love is what I found in you and thank you for sticking around, as there were once many frowns.

However, we sure turned them around and built solid ground.

Love is what I felt from the start with all my heart until death do us part.

Love, like life, is unpredictable, and you spelled that fact out loud and clear with these lines of prose, Laura.

Certainly words to live by, my friend, if both look at love through like eyes.
