SERVANT BY ECHO

I am servant...to thoughts and words
Unspoken, yet by spirit heard
Of whispered echoes, clear as rain
That moisten lips....with verbiage feigned

To tell of loves that always were
By which this realm caused path to err
In finest thoughts, in deed to give
What was before....may yet relive

To bare all true , rehearsed yet new
By ancient shadow's dawn debut
No fears or vanities unbind
Pure love that weaves those of same mind

How could one choose to disbelieve...
Words left unsaid....then mutely grieve
For what is felt, and yet not heard
Takes haunted cast......from birth transferred

Lady A

...Hanging by a moment, hanging by a thread; the mystical enigmas of the things we've left unsaid...This is wonderful, Lady A, and has the searching qualities of the subject it seeks to express. I, for one, seem to have a mind that spends more time investigating nouance rather than fact and hence am never quite sure whether my "reality" lines up with anyone else's or not??!! KB

Anita, i could have read this all day and worked out something different each time, this is an amazingly flowing poem that gets the reader to work it out, what they conjour up is another thing but i loved this, i revel in that flow that feeling that its been written in a hurry before its lost forever, a cracking piece, i'm in awe of your mind and where it takes you...Mark x

Not sorry I visited but daunted by your talent. No wonder the poet starves. So much beauty and empty spaces between to fill in with your own thoughts. This is lovely.

You are one mesmerizing, thoughtful poet. I suppose the word "transport" is overused.. BUT.. if it's the right word, so what? This poem transported me.. there, I've said it and I'm glad! (smile) Wonderful piece, indeed. katy xox.
