Dearest Poet

Due to my timorous hesitation
I've delayed expressing admiration
For your words have made me whole
As you've shared with me your soul

Disrobing your thoughts, by gentlest ease
The formless and shapeless, are born and can breathe
As I sleep with your words, 'neath my pillow at night
In darkness they beckon.....your visions.......my sight

Your words are like kisses, I taste as I read
Or cries of moist, sorrowful, tears as we bleed
I find our hearts welded, one chamber, one core
I cherish your pages....but yearn..... for much more

Dearest Poet

I fear I am bold.......yet will NOT feel shame
For I am but reader....you know not my name
Dear Poet.....I love you...as much as I can
Dear Poet...your words.....have shown me the man

With humble admiration
Your Loyal Reader

And Purest Heart

In This Life And Beyond

I am reading your poetry

BRILLIANT!!! I am saving this, Anita! Pure class and I could just EAT IT!! So bittersweet and it really rocks me! I'm sure if Debs was handing out the gold stickers, this would be right up there on the No1 Podium! Looks like we could be havin our own mutual appreciation society goin down here, but honest, Honey, you and I are really tracking. But, duh??!! Don't think I could even begin "Joy" again now since you've "done it" so darn good... but, just for you, I might give it a go although it will be much more of a mixed subject bag than your "Quick! Get the fire hydrant"- smokin affair! Big Mwah, Babe! Kate xx
