OUT OF THE DUST


I hold you in my thoughts
From the daylight into night
As my heart is firmly caught
By this bond that feels so right

With these feelings you've awakened
Deep within my dormant soul
My indifference, I've forsaken
And embrace a different role

To feel your love extended
And clasp your heart in trust
Our spirits have ascended
As our pasts, rise from the dust
