True love is like a babbling stream
That flows beneath the sun
A precious bond; a lasting dream
To never be undone
A legacy that shall remain
In all the years to be
Steadfastly bound, time and again
By hope, eternally.
True love is like a summer rain
So warm and comfort-filled
A blessed wind; a fertile plain
On which dreams are fulfilled
A destiny to always thrive
Throughout the highs and lows
For love so true shall e’er survive
All that this life bestows.
True love is like a blessed song
Filled with rhythm and rhyme
A special place where you belong
Together, for all time
Love, such as this, is rich and rare
In the utmost degree
Yet, such a love, is what you share
On your anniversary.
