When you are weak, I’ll be your strength
Down every road you choose
For with each other, at arms’ length
I know you cannot lose
Please share the burdens you must bear
And know you’re not alone
Be certain I will be right there
To make your load my own.

Please realize I’ll be standing by
Should dark clouds pass your way
To share my shoulder when you cry
And wish your grief away
I’ll warm the coldness with a smile
Then, cast your blues to sea
Knowing that in a little while
You might be there for me.

When you are sad, please call my name
And I will do my best
To wash away the guilt and blame
Related to your test
You are a loyal friend, indeed –
The one for whom I care
So should your heart e’er be in need
Please know I’ll be right there.
