No greater love could ever be
Seen by a daughter’s eyes
Than that, which has been shown to me
By parents, warm and wise
A love so true ; a love so sure
A love, still in its prime
Made strong enough to e’er endure
The common tests of time.

The road has not always been smooth
And still, you’ve made it great
Your love and laughter served to soothe
Despite the hand of fate
Now, looking back, I’ve come to know
How blessed my life has been
You’ve stood by me; you’ve helped me grow
You would do it again.

Known by a daughter’s soul
Than that, which has been shown to me
And served to make me whole
A love so pure; a love so real
A love so sweet and calm
I know that I will always feel
For my dear Dad and Mom.
