I love to spend the morning hours
Watching the sea gulls soar
Surrounded by the sea foam showers
Softly kissing the shore
My heart is soothed, without a sound
Beneath the rising sun
Moved by the pure beauty abound
When each day is begun.

I love to spend the morning hours
Relaxing ‘neath the breeze
Observing when the last star cowers
To the daylight, with ease
These moments are too dear to waste
When each one comes my way
The quiet time provides a taste
Of peace, to start the day.

I love to spend the morning hours
Embracing nature’s worth
The beauty that God, through His powers
Placed here upon our earth
Once I indulge, I never fear
The paths which I will stride
Because my course becomes quite clear
With the sun, as my guide.

This poem is absolutely exquisite.
The morning hours are such a perfect
time to meditate and watch the beauty
we have been given so freely. The
picture says it all. Wonderful writing.

Hugs`n smiles,

Kate

Dear Jill,

The morning sunrise is always a great way to begin the day in serenity and gratitude and sets the tone, nicely, for the rest of the day. Lovely verse, as always.

Love & Light always and in all ways,
Joseph*

Beautiful. And to add to the beauty is the wonderful song of the ocean waves kissing the shoreline.
