Poem Artwork

Your friendship is shared as a selfless gift
The kindest endowment of hope and peace
Your temperament gives each weak soul a lift
Proving your faithfulness shall ne’er cease
Your wisdom and insight shine from within
Through endearing words kept deep in your heart
By giving of yourself, time and again
You let the world see what sets you apart.

To each soul you meet, you offer the world
Yet, you’ve never asked the world in return
A testament to the kind heart you are
You walk through this life, with your arms unfurled
Filled with compassion, should a burden churn
My friend, you’re an angel, sent from afar.

My friends are few, but their selfless gift is "... you're an angel, sent from afar." So beautifully and eloquently stated - friends. They honor my life, as does your poetry.

Blessings,
Kathy
