Like a windmill, your love turns freely through time
When life’s breezes blow, your commitment stays true
Your union shall never move beyond its prime
Each day is a gift, the Lord made just for you
From sunrise to sunset and nightfall to morn
Your love shall remain firmly tethered to ground
So, you will continue as when love was born
Two souls filled with wonder o’er the joy you’ve found.

Like a windmill, your love has weathered great storms
Yet, after each downpour, a rainbow appears
To prove that whenever adversity forms
Your love is designed to sustain, through the years
No moment of hardship could e’er serve to shake
The foundation known as your eternal bond
With love as your beacon, each step that you take
Your hearts will forever be tender and fond.

Like a windmill, your marriage still stands today
As strong as the moment when you said, I do
Warm breezes and rainbows have traveled your way
You’ll view many more, ‘fore your journey is through
I wish you the best, as you go forth from here
And pray that each sunrise and sunset you see
Will lead you to celebrate another year
Of happiness on your anniversary.
