Life’s not always easy and not always fair
Yet, this life is beautiful, beyond compare
Each day is a blessing, some would call a gift
Even if our hearts are found to need a lift
Tough times make us wiser and open our eyes
To the faith and courage we don’t realize
Therefore, the hard times are quite beautiful, too
Each shows us the strength that our souls never knew.

Life’s not always sunny; some showers must fall
Yet, life remains beautiful, through every squall
As long as we know that tomorrow will bring
A chance to renew and forget everything
Some moments seem colder, if we are alone
But, the outlook is ours to control, on our own
Therefore, every shower is worthy of praise
Each shows us we are bound to see better days.

Life’s not always perfect and that is okay
Every imperfection helps us find our way
Each morning appears to encourage our souls
To reach for the sky in pursuit of our goals
In time, every person must shoulder some grief
Yet, in those lost moments, we will find relief
As long as we trust that the Lord knows our hearts
Our lives will remain beautiful works of art.
