Dear Lord, I ask this simple prayer
Heartfelt and not by notion
Remind us you are always there
With grace and true devotion
So many times, so many souls
Disbelieve your existence
By blaming You for their failed goals
Those botched without persistence
This prayer I’m asking openly
Is for those who are blind
To the joy that I always know
When your love comes to mind
I pray those who don’t worship You
Will someday find Your will
Lord, ‘til the very hour they do
Keep these lost ones in view
Dear Lord, please know this small request
Was founded in my heart
Because my life You have so blessed
Right from the very start
I wish the world from sea to sea
From sky to ground below
Could share the joys You’ve given me
And the good You bestow.
