I saw your smile; you stole my heart
A spark turned to a flame
From your side, I shall never part
My life is now your claim
We came together, quite by chance
And yet, the angels knew
That we would share a real romance
Until this life is through.
 
You detained my heart, willingly
I saw no need to fight
The first step towards our destiny
Was begun on that night
You lured me into your embrace
Your tips came from above
I was held captive by your face
You bound me in your love.
 
I saw your eyes; you seized my soul
Our future was begun
Over my love, you gained control
You led me towards the sun
I never felt that I should flee
With you, I’ve been secure
My heart is trapped; you hold the key
Our timeless love is sure.
