Love is a beautiful, flowering vine
A gift for which every heart strives
Friendship, a sign of His glory divine
Enriching and touching our lives
The love of a friend never fades away
It spans this era and beyond
Even if departed, sweet memories shall stay
Maintaining friendship’s lasting bond
Some friendships are simply more special, indeed
Their roots implant deep in the soul
Their views change our lives, by conviction or creed
Their light guides us toward every goal
True blessings are they, angels sent forth to earth
To extend His sure wisdom and trust
Through their eyes, we see a world of strength and worth
Where faith and empathy are just
A just world of love and of friendship’s embrace
Resides in your spirit of giving
God’s angel children are your reasons to race
Their memories, your purpose for living
You have found that friendship, most special of all
Love’s eternal gift lies within
Chelsey’s legacy shall e’ermore stand tall
