Poem Artwork

She is elsewhere, in secrecy.
She knows her secrets well.
The lies she sends to deceive,
do not deceive her, i receive.

She reveals but to conceal.
I follow her, as if i'm almost
everywhere & she is elsewhere.
These worlds of mirrors

& thin walls, i pass through,
less than the next dawn,
she more than a phantom host
in this kiss of life before death.

Oh, you have my kundalini rising with this one, Robin. My mystery dark diva's name is Delilah LaVay, a black magic woman, my alter ego in the witching hour, and a character Diablo sends out to steal a soul in one of my upcoming novels DOMINGA RIO OF CUERO.

"in this kiss of life before death"

The Black Widow mates, then she kills. This poem says a lot about deception. Also keeps tabs on her whereabouts. Another mysterious write, Robin.

robin, this is a lovely piece. i found it very inticing in its delivery as it rolled off the page like thick syrup.
i stopped in to read your bio as well. so the work now, is not such a surprise from such an accomplished author.
thank you for the pleasure of reading.
