Magdalena

on evering frontier of his being
so he seems so you to him seem
or perhaps in waking or dream
ever you have been his question
invisible haunting his horizon
ever unseen wheresoever he turn
the moon borne from your lantern
as you enter the chamber groom

to call him within we are not within
so royal in aspect that your wear alone
robed in white gown his haunted room
where he has been & must return
to you who with scorn will spurn
once more to give the kiss he yearns

Your poetry is always so well thought out and, well, poetic. I like that!

quite intriquing Robin, thought most of it took place i some shadows, and to me anyway, it all seemed so transluscent, to show the inner chamber, ty Al

Fantastic weave of Christ's pending return: and, yes, many will spurn and do so even now. ~~Bonnie Q

Hi Robin,
I once visited the Sea of Galilee, a long time ago; a local police captain told me that the Mary Magdalene took her name from a small village called ed-Mejdel on the shores of Lake Tiberius.
Later called Magdala. Do you not think Magdalena sounds a bit Spanish?

Apparently, the indigo plant grew wild on its shores; maybe the first cloth of Genoa was dyed there.
Whilst in the area, I bathed in the green waters of the Jordan, do not know if it did me much good.
Very interesting poetry.

OK..maybe I'm obsessed with the Twin Flame concept..but I could swear you were writing about it in this exquisite piece..let me know ..

In white gown entering the shadows, like a shadow herself... "to call him within we are not within". Reminds me of a recurrent dream I used to have, in which the shadow, either dusky or clear, entered chambers of mind and anima depicted either in dark or luminous hues...
(Muchísimas gracias, tambien, por los distintos rostros del Dios y de la Diosa)
