apparently it is all about control, mastery of the self -- and knowing when to give the horses free reign.....hmm a magnificent piece!

Well done! I have deep respect for poetic form.
I am not familiar with what makes the structure of a
quatrain, a quatrain, but I sense you nailed this.
If you are so inclined, could you let me know how the
specific structure is outlined--and if there is any flexibility.
