A Gray Day Challenge!

It sure is gray today,
But I'll laugh anyway;
I will not let it get me down,
It cannot make me wear a frown!
Even though it's gray today.

What else is cool and gray,
That might just lift my day?
Pussycats and tiny birds,
Comfy socks and happy words,
Like tickle, smile and play!

It may be dull outside,
My nerves a little fried,
It's up to me to laugh or frown,
When things are gray and upside down
When different moods collide.

It's pretty gray alright,
But I won't give up the fight,
I'll smile and laugh and tell myself,
To lift good humour off the shelf,
And create some awesome light!
