It truly is a miracle
That hugs can up and fly;
They can home right in
And find your heart,
Even when you're not close by;

Leaping over buildings
In a single, happy bound,
Doing flips
And fancy tricks,
And tossing smiles around;

They only need a fervent wish
To send them on their way,
To where someone is waiting,
For some hope to lift the gray;

When they reach their destination,
With their arms around you tight,
They'll comfort you with tender warmth,
And guide you with their light;

When you feel a tickle in your heart,
A warm and gentle tug,
It's just someone thinking of you,
And sending you a hug!
