My love.........

When I am floating in a sea of doubt,
thoughts of your love.........
wash over me and draw me out.

When memories of the past
seem to be all I have,
I will not fear them anymore!
I will not let them rule my days
nor occupy my nights.
They are just that;
past!

All my tomorrows belong to you,
that soothing thought
calms all my fears,
as thoughts of you draw me near.


I will wrap them tight
with-in my heart and mind,
and will not worry about
the sands of time.

I will live today,
and let tomorrow be,
and pray to God
that you will spend eternity with me.

I will let Love wash over me
soothe the broken places in my life,
I will trust again
I won't try to second guess.
I will take life as it comes
and cherish all the lesson's learned.

I've come to realize
that with out some pain,
we may never know
just what we have gained!
We can let pain cripple us;
or................
use it to grow.

We can let memories
hold us in one place,
ever stifling us
or break free.

There are better days ahead
so let me find the strength,
to shake off the sands of time,
and reach for the promise
I hear with in your voice,
and realize that all the sounds of yesteryears............
are nothing more than just noise.

That, with-in today is the promise,
the gift......................
of all my happy tomorrows.
