Wrenching, at times feeble and weak Strong and kind and good generous and meek Achingly devoted in love Blossom's with pure joy With feelings as soft as rose petals and sweet as honeysuckle Bound in mystery and intrigue A cause for unquenchalbe fires The home undauntible desires Worn on the sleeve of many A sign of one's hopes and dreams Chased but seldom caught, it seems Torn and broken, yet it survives To shape the course of our lives It stands up to all emotions It survives life's tumultous jaunt It's the heart, and it knows what it wants
