I hope it gives you shivers!(:

Poem Artwork

The car broke down on the way out of town
A 3 mile walk, gotta make haste, no time to balk
Fog is rising, air warm, owl hoots, no harm

Silence is golden but not tonight
The rustling trees make for a little fright

Halfway there a cause for cheer
But imagination breeds fear

Imagination? or is this real?
This cold breath on your neck , that you feel?

Dare you  turn, do you  really want to see?
Or do you follow your first mind and flee?

Tiny hairs on your neck rise and prickle
Visions float by, of the Reaper with his sickle

Whispers, whispers urgent and bold!
Your heart hammers and your blood runs cold

Suddnely, a movement catches your eye
You scream as you're lifted into the sky!

Never to be seen or heard from again
Devoured by evil that thrives on fear and pain

Do not you lull, humans, do not you sit still
The Nightstaker prowls seeking to kill

So beware, you humans of tender flesh
It seeks your blood while still warm and fresh

Sit and shiver, pull the covers over your head
He will stalk and drink your blood

Until all of you are dead!

Is this a Halloween Tale or not. Anyway it is frightening to me a little. I liked it though, it is goulish and makes you wonder what will happen on a dark road at night.

Okay, you've added "paranoid" to my list of personal qualities. Great story! Rebecca
