This poem is written as a response to a Story of loves seasons, by E W Richardson's, "Eternal Play of Seasons"

winters wind a cold shoulder bite
tasting me as you have, my treasures
in the deep still bundling of nighttide
with passions moist heated breath
our love becomes visible in the air

mother nature cloaks the earth with snow
as you cover me with your body warmth
snow flowers of purple peek out their heads
as I seek your brilliance like they the sun
only to recede back under as the sun sets

cherry trees of spring, blossom pink
creating a fragrant earth scented bed
spring thaw, and pond freeze recedes
skinny dipping in the pond ice- out
we cool the passions born of lusts heat

Coolness of arbors lush fruit vines
dripping ripe purple grapes of summer
I peel and exposing our tender flesh
I offer both grape and self to you
on a bed of mash we lay making wine

Harvest moon shines long and bright
over winnow left chaff, our pallet of fall
we cast our camel back shadows
on the painting of autumn fallen foliage
against trees who show their nude spine

as seasons in the past, knowing we must
again adjourn to our home of retreat
winters bated breath is upon us
so bundle again we will in nighttide
spending the hours in loves raptures
