There is that one love that one can never "shake" completely even though it never would have worked.

I thought of you tonight Remembering the good times When our love was new How I loved you The moon was shining bright Perhaps I fell to it's spell Soft spot in my heart Why did we part I thought of you tonight Trying to fall asleep but Wishing you were near Right now right here .........was that a tear? Regret is obvious here, but
better to recall what was
and the beauty that was there
than to feel a tear unless
this tear was a good one
