We need not dream a thousand dreams,
For only few become real.
Who needs to dream?
One needs not to dream of love,
You may not find it.
Once again, I ask, who needs to dream?
You need not dream of family,
For what assures you of raising one
Yet again, I ask who needs to dream?
Every time I go to sleep,
Not one thought comes to mind and I weep.
So now, I ask who needs to dream
and answer it mournfully,
I need to dream those dreams of love
and of family.
TO live without any is torture,
to live with dreams answered
is what is sweetly yearned.
