You are a rose more fair
Then my garden could ever contain.
A blossom of beauty beyond compare,
Loving-kindness is your name
When your form opened for all to view,
You touched everyone’s heart,
With a special power
That kept no one apart.
Your beauty struck a cord within,
That some have never felt.
Aloneness was their constant,
Of a life sadly spent.
I wondered how it was you grew,
In my garden’s simple display.
And realized that I had planted you,
On a melancholy day.
I celebrate your arrival now,
When my heart is healed anew.
A symbol to remind us all,
Of what great love can do.

And while the Rose was performing its secret loving magic...so was your heart healing....
Love, love, love....
