 THE JOURNEY INTO LONG AGO

By, Myra Wexler Darwish

I let go of who I was,

Surrendering to life’s flow.

There was no star to guide me,

Or direct where I might go.

I listened only to ancient sounds,

For my soul longed - to know.

Where I would light

Mattered naught,

To journey was my only thought.

To sail the seas

And land on shores

I had never known before.

The imperative of freedom

Greater than the earth or sky,

Was to let go of all I’ve ever known

And let my heart rely,

On the music it was hearing -

A transcendent lullaby.

I went to eras of long ago -

To see old loves and times we spent -

To see wooden structures both high and low -

To be in France, in Persia, and the Orient -

To see myself dressed in cotton and silk -

All were part of me – I unwaveringly know!

As the journey ended,

I witnessed my life anew.

Knowing who I had been changed me,

From the woman I once knew.

The union of my present and past,

Became for me - my truth!

Having had regression myself, and within my family,
...I understand what you say...
The experience is so real, there is no doubting its authenticity..
I am happy for you that it was so helpful...and you discovered your truth...
Regards,
Diana....
