It is within the vast darkness of space
I feel I belong to the universe
for I am tied to humanity’s  love
and lay in God’s arms…which are open wide

If I fall, he catches my soul…
and once again-I am reunited
For it is my desire to be alive
and he lets me breathe again

The staggering of my body
takes place unexpectedly
and I can no longer wish
for the comforts from yesterday’s crutch

I am free…upon the ground I walk
There are choices that are mine to make
God gave these to me…upon my birth
and his angels instructed my parents

To give their love without reservation…
