My time upon the rising sun
A freshness in the air
Ascension from the dark of night
Awoken from the glare
Awoken to my heart’s desire
A shadow from my soul
So not to waste a moment’s time
Before the day is old
Arisen from my feet-so weak
to labor in the wind
A moment with my soul’s desire
Until I rise again
If I should lay upon my back
before the night befalls
I’ll think about my soul’s true worth
And lessons from my fall
If he should say "now lay to rest"
I'll know my time is done
Ascending from my soul’s desire
To be with him-as one...
