Once again I arrive
At the doorstep of light
While blackbirds fly
Surrounding my soul
I hear the other side
As they wait for my arrival
Yet, I have not succumbed
To the whispering calls
I am free…in my own space
And I have chosen life
Its beauty is unsurpassed…
Though peace remains toiled
and lives remain lost
Someday...perhaps...I will see
Faces with bright smiles
And hearts that are glowing
For the universe is true
To the consciousness' of man
