I see flowers planted
where her love began
rows upon rows of dafodils
cared for by her lover's hands
Bright, beautiful blooms
draped within the garden walls
and given the essence-
of her contemplation...
longing,wanting,waiting-
for another kiss...
Showered by dewdrops,
the white picket fence-
leads to her loving home...
A bed,amassed by pillows
once laid upoon by her lover's head
and dreamt upon by her lover's soul
She is once again reminded of truth
as the news blares on the radio-
through the sheer lace of her curtains
the war continues...
and her man marches on
to the unknown end of destruction....
