When Love Sends Us Home

When I heard the news of Terri Schiavo I thought about what it would be like to leave this earth....I wrote this in first person as though I were the one in controversy...

I am once again
within the realms of angels
as I hear their wings flutter
and choirs sing to me
when peace is my guide...
My longing to be with them
fills me with joy
for I...will no longer
be laying amongst lost clouds
with truths never spoken by my soul
I have no fear of death
for he knows I will be as one
and he leads me there
though others may not see
my true purpose from nothingness
I will once again be free
like eagles in flight
with no men's tools
to stop their wings
from ascension
I am ...I am...
As once told in the beginning
upon my birth...
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust
A truth never found
Until love sends us home....
