Murmurs from winter
bring cold shivers
down my spine
as I walk beneath
the night's shadow
just before dusk
I see the birds flying home
with their loved ones
side by side-in unison
like perfect sculptures
molded by the gentle hands
of our creator
Happiness lives within me
like the color yellow
A bright light arisen
from my past toils...
I laugh alot now-
though crying was once
my only friend...
My joy was once shattered
by my swollen eyes
and the salty water
of my tears....
