I carry with me love's shadow
from your soul
and I feel your footprints
left behind on my hearts core
You are always there...
bringing life into my veins
and happiness surrounds
the mere thought
of your souls presence
You give me back-
what life has taken away...
My songs are once again-
peaceful-with feelings of hope
though they were once lost
...by the dark cries
of solitude and lonliness
My freedom begins
where your love began
and love shall never find me
knocking-
at the back door of
despair...
