I am the life and blood of poet-
a person in the mind's eye
revered not-when I speak
of dark sunshine on a clear day
hopeless-that comes in a form
brought on by old memories
dirty laundry never cleaned-
only hung on to
with steel closepins
or steel thoughts-
that never loosen
they are silent.
and I only give them life
when happiness fades
for a moment....
