If I should carry thoughts of love
within this world of mine
My thoughts should sail across the sea
so peace and hope are found
If I should see my cup half full
to sip with other souls-
my thoughts should travel to their minds
for visions of their goals
If I should hate...I'll see myself
upon the looking glass
The other souls... will then see hate-
and love they cannot grasp
If I should want to see his face
before my time should pass
I'll look upon my inner soul
and light will come-at last....
