Beyond the horizon
I see the creator of life
and the sculptor of my soul,
be it weary or joyous
it is all the same
The wholeness of me
lies upon my own true worth
whether beggar or slave
whether queen or pauper
I reside as one
with the universe
I find my peace
in nothingness
No riches can give me
satisfaction if I am
not in tune with my mission
or at rest with life's purpose
I choose my lessons
one by one, trial by trial
until I am, I am
the light within the light
