I gasp for your love
with a breathless desire
while it weaves around
my veins. It saturates
its fever like
hot molten lava
and crawls upon my flesh
waiting to exhale
only upon your lips
I am powerless
in your arms
and my soul melts
with yours. In unison,
it is not afraid of the world
or travels into ecstasy
It is a deep,
deep heaviness
as you summon me
into your cloak of passion
I am stirred beneath
distant shadows
wanting, waiting
for more
as you hold me prisoner
in the flame of true devotion
